Ahmed Guenaoui

Prior to joining Ankaa Ventures as Venture Partner in 2022, Ahmed has 10 years of experience in energy transition and green finance. He started his career as a senior civil servant at the French Treasury in the Ministry of Economy and Finance where negotiated and drafted several regulations related to corporate governance, ESG and sustainable finance. He worked at Engie, a French major utility, where he acted as the CEO’s Chief of staff and Head of the Sustainable mobility Business Unit. As an entrepreneur, Ahmed created a club deal platform investing in energy transition startups and an advisory firm working with clients from energy and energy services sector.

Ahmed holds two degrees from Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA) and ESCP Europe.
