Damien has more than 17 years' experience in M&A and alternative assets (listed & private equity, venture capital), gained at, among others, Lafarge Holcim, OC&C Strategy Consultants, Natixis and Societe Generale. Since 2014, he was a Managing Director at Societe Generale, where he launched an investment banking activity within their asset management & private banking arm, promoting in particular M&A, Private Equity and Venture Capital. In his last position, Damien was heading out of Dubai the group’s activities with Family Offices and some Sovereign Wealth Funds in the Middle East and Russia.
He is serving since 2017 as board member and chairman of the investment management committee of Vietnam Holding (LON:VNH), a USD 150m fund listed on the LSE and investing in Vietnamese equities.
Passionate about science and technology, he invested as Business Angel in several companies over the last 10 years, some of which being very successful such as Fintecture in France, Solaris in Germany, Collectiv Food in the UK or Dossier in the US.
Damien holds two engineering degrees from Ecole Polytechnique and Mines de Paris, and is
a CFA charterholder.
