Elisabeth Maugars

Elisabeth joined Ankaa Ventures as Venture Partner in 2022. Elisabeth has 25 years’ experience at international banks (Morgan Stanley, Société Générale), where she held senior responsibilities, out of London and Paris, establishing, building and scaling up profitable public and private businesses and running worldwide teams that provided a broad range of customized investment banking solutions and sourced direct investment opportunities to Family Offices, Holdings, Financial Institutions and Entrepreneurs. Before that, she was managing the Finance and Treasury department of the French luxury group LVMH for 8 years. More recently, she has been delivering capital raising and investor relations services to deep-tech and disruptive US and GCC-based Venture Capital funds, as well as to EMEA start-ups.

She is serving since 2017 as board member of StoneArb Investments Ltd. a DIFC incorporated company, licensed by the DFSA, active in identifying inefficiencies in the Real Estate market of Dubai and since 2020 as board member and audit committee chair of Alchimie, which operates an over-the-top subscription video on demand platform and is listed on Euronext Paris.

Elisabeth graduated from Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC), with a degree in Business Administration with Finance Major.
