Maxime joined Ankaa Ventures in 2023 as Chief Financial Officer. Before that he spent 14 years in the banking industry, having worked for Societe Generale, Lehman Brothers and UBS, in Paris and London. In the early 2000s he helped build and coordinate the distribution of CDOs and ABS in French speaking countries. He then advised the largest French banks on their structured funding needs and credit risk management. Between 2013 and 2018 he served as CFO of a private nursery schools company and managed its sale to a large French player. He has been investing for 20+ years in startups and advising clients on how to invest and monitor their positions.
